The city of Pilar do Sul, in the Sorocaba / SP region, has been gaining prominence on the national scene with the production of the Pilarmoscato grape, the first gourmet grape in Brazil.
The variety began to be produced in 2011, after a decade of research carried out by members of the APPC Agroindustrial Cooperative (Paulista Association of Persimmon Producers).
